Tomorrow morning I'll be leaving for Sandusky, OH to race in the Rev3 Half and ride some roller coasters! Except I probably won't really ride any roller coasters because they scare me. Actually, I don't know if they scare me, but I haven't been on one since high school. Which was like 15 years ago. Which makes me old. Anyway, I digress!
I can't tell you how happy I am to race! Enough of this training stuff! :) I feel like I haven't raced for years (it's actually been 4 weeks)!
I'm not so sure how this is going to feel. Racing in the midst of the biggest of big IM training weeks might prove to be tough. But then again maybe I'll feel super right? Right? :) Seriously, I have been racing long enough to know that there really is no telling how you are going to feel on race day no matter where you are in a training cycle. But you race hard anyway and the result is what it is - no excuses!
So to Ohio we go! One last dress rehearsal to try out the nutrition and the gear before Ironman is here!
Best of luck to everyone racing this weekend, especially all those IMMOOers! Can't wait to track you all and cheer you on!
