Training camp is getting so close I can smell it! Wahoooo!
On Friday I will be going here:
Which in case you don't know, is Boulder, CO!
I've been excited about this camp ever since we bought the plane tickets for me to go! And I feel so lucky that we can make this work and I can spend 3 days training with my teammates and coach and learning from all their experience.
And luckily Barb is nice enough (AGAIN!) to pick me up at the airport and house me just like last year . Thanks so much Barb - Noodles is on me! ;)
Although unlike last year, this camp is all about training and less about learning. :) On tap for Saturday is a 110 mile ride (looks like there are some gnarly climbs in there), a run off the bike and a swim workout after that. I hope there aren't any kicking sets. :) Sunday is a long run and another swim workout. Nothing super crazy and out of the ordinary but that will be plenty enough for me!
Also a few team dinners and time spent with awesome people . Oh and I have a list of Ironman questions. Seriously, I have a piece of paper with a whole bunch of questions all written out and ready to go. I figure now is my opportunity to get all my questions answered by a whole bunch of people who have done Kona a whole bunch of times. And done it darn well.
So to Boulder we go! I promise to take lots of pictures (fingers crossed) and give a full report upon return! :)
