Gregory Dane Patterson is about to run the first full marathon of his life ( See Press Release Below ) and you can join him.
As you may recall, the Biggest Loser portrayed Patterson as having finished an Arizona marathon with his wife in under 4 hours last month.
As it turned out Dane Patterson ran only about 23-miles of the marathon in just under 6 hours.
The producers of the show gave him a 3-mile van ride so that he could make the marathon' s six hour cut off time.
Unfortunately Patterson in a video segment for the show he said, "It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life to run side by side with my wife for an entire marathon."
And to make matter worse, he refused to give back the finisher' s marathon medal he did not earn.
"I obviously didn' t mean for any of this to happen. The medal was given. I would not give that back. I’m proud of it," he said this week.
"I was proud that I accomplished what I accomplished....In my mind I ran the full 26 miles."
So
he' s about to give the marathon another try next month in Nashville.
Wether you run with him or not, the press and bloggers will certainly
be watching.
