Hi Todd,

Missing running one day a week won't have much effect on your running. Because you'll be playing golf, you'll be doing a lot of walking, so think of the golf as a form of crosstraining. Walking on that day instead of running will give you a bit of extra rest, and that is always good. Concerning your 10K, congratulations for finishing! Now you have a Personal Best, and beating that is a nice goal for your 10K. Try and run negative splits in your future 10Ks. Negative splits are where you run the last half faster than the first half. During the last half, you can judge your energy-level and pick up the pace a bit if you seem to be doing ok. During the last 100 feet or so, I like to really go fast so I finish in a blaze of speed :)
