On May 20, 2010, researchers from the Harvard School of Public Health reported that women who used fertility drugs to get pregnant had almost double the risk of having a child with ASD. My research supports this relationship. About 58% of ASD children have low cholesterol and Clomid is a cholesterol inhibiting drug. Pergonal also reduces cholesterol. As I postulated over 2 years ago, maintaining an optimum level of cholesterol could likely eliminate many cases ASD.
