Follow the Re-String rule. You should re-string your racket as many times in a year as you play in a week. If you play 3 times a week, re-string 3 times a year.
Heavier frame, less vibration. A heavier racket frame generates less vibration on your arm. If you're concerned about soreness, look into a heavier frame.
Heavier frame, more power. A heavier racket frame generates more power than a lighter one.
Higher tension, more control. Higher string tension generates more control, with less power.
Lower tension, more power. Lower string tension generates more power, with less control.
Re-String it. If you play regularly, your racket should be re-strung at least twice a year.
Stiffer frame, larger sweetspot. A stiffer racket frame has a larger sweetspot.
Stiffer frame, more power. The stiffer the racket frame, the more power it generates.
Thinner spin more. Thinner strings produce more spin.
