I looked online to see if Stanford has a tennis league that faculty/staff can join but I could not find any information. Does anyone know whether or not such a thing exist. Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.
Another place you might look if you're ever in the mood for a random match, or if you want to find a new playing partner and friend, or even a program off campus in the off-season, is USTA.com. They have a great find-a-player, program, court search engine there.
And tennis can also make a great workout without even playing a match. Give cardio tennis a try. You'll do all different kinds of tennis drills during a 30 or 60 minute session. Visit www.cardiotennis.com to find a facility near you that hosts this program.
There are tennis classes that some faculty and staff participate in - it might be a place to start looking. We have intramural leagues in fall and spring that faculty and staff can participate in. check the rec website - suwellness.stanford.edu
