Hi! My name is Mary. I run 4 times a week. Generally averaging 4/5 miles. I want to incorporate yoga as well as cross fit. I rise every morning at 4:14. Drive an hour to my work area where I run the trails before I head into work. I dont get home till 6:30 or so in the evenings when I'm not working a part-time job. I love to eat organic as much as possible. Dont eat red meat. Limit sweets, but is definitatly a weak area. I love chocolate cake!! Would like to get stronger upper body strenght.
Thanks for any support and help you can send my way.
I'm a S/WAHM that has recently developed PreDiabetes. This was the wakeup call I needed to get moving! I spent the bulk of my life weighing less than 100 pounds yet eating everything but the kitchen sink! lol When this sudden onset of weight occurred, it wasn't hard for me to just give up. I wasn't accustomed to working for my perfect body. No, I'm not being conceited...it really was perfect! I weighed in at 98 lbs and had the highly desired measurements of 34-24-36. When that disappeared, I was clueless of how to respond. So, I literally sat and got fat. I grew to my current weight of 153 in less than 2 years. I developed back pain like I've never known, acne, migraines, sight and hearing problems even. I'm not certain that it's all connected, but I'm pretty convinced, as it all started within months of each other. Now, with this new diagnosis, I've decided that it's no joke, and I can't just shrug it off as part of being a mom. This isn't my first attempt, but I'm hoping it's the final one that stops the gain and moderates my health.
