Hello everyone
38 years old ,newbie to running...3x week for 12 weeks plus crosstrain .Im able to run 3 miles in 28 mins.My short term goal is 23 min for a scheduled 5k Dec 12. 2009.My long term goal is Marathon Dec 2010. Still working on my pace, varies day to day 9-13 range.Trying to improve on something i fell in love with late in life.Any tips or support is welcomed

Hi! I'm not a great runner, but I'm trying :)
So far I'm just doing my 3 mile runs on the treadmill. My weak knees and ankles make it difficult for me to keep up a good pace. Plus I'm trying to lose excess weight in the process.... nice to join!
