Health knowledge made personal
Birthday: September 1
The 60's and 70's were great years to come of age, when the call to freedom and breaking tradition was a new lifestyle that took hold of an entire nation and over the next 40 years would eventually circumvent the globe. In my senior year of college I met the first of two mentors/teachers who would set the course for my life long passion for coaching and being in service to others.
Ready to enter the world of business and accounting, my encounter with the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in 1969 was the first disruptive force to alter the course of my life. For 16 years I studied with Maharishi traveling the globe, not balancing the books, but meditating for months on end; merging with the transcendental nature of my mind. I eventually went out into the world to teach TM meditation to hundreds of people in Europe and the US.
In 1995, I met my second mentor, Dr. Miguel Ruiz, author of "The Four Agreements," a Toltec master in the ancient mystery schools of Mexico. This chance meeting with Miguel led to a 8 year apprenticeship which developed my cognitive abilities to work with the creative, thinking, and dreaming mind. The skills that Miguel taught me has complemented my extensive meditation experiences; creating a depth of coaching insights that have been invaluable to myself and my clients.
Around March 2007 these two paths joined in a remarkable coalescence of my understanding of how to maintain the deep silence of meditation while being engaged in the world of action. It was a renaissance of my coaching career and with it I began to develop the "Integral Stress Relief Coaching Methodology," which I completed in January of 2011.
I reside in Los Angeles with my wife Rita, and daughter Jennifer.
