Hi there, My name is Susie and I am a full time carer to my husband Hamada who is suffering from Multiple Myeloma - a cancer of the plasma cells, which is a terminal disease but although given just six months, we are now with good care, entering our fourth year. After intial chemotherapy he received a Stem Cell Transplant in 2007 and gained eighteen months remission but is now trying a newer chemo called Velcade. My blogs have been written for and about Hamada and our journey with MM in the form of poems. Creating a diary about looking after and loving someone who is seriously ill. Perhaps some of you may enjoy them too. My best wishes to all of you but most of all anyone suffering with Cancer and also to their Carers.

Sincerely Susie Hemingway
