I am a long time Stanford Hospital employee. My children are old enough to take care of themselves so it is time to take care of me. I want to lose 80 pounds slowly and while eating well. I also want to do an overnite backpacking trip. So I need to work on my walking and stamina. I am a Weight Watcher member and use this group for my weekly weigh in so that I do not space out and get lost.

Susan, Per mom's recommendation, I am taking niacin and eating oatbran every weekday morning and it is easy, filling, and reduces bad cholesterol. I invite you to try it out if you have not already.
