
The conventional wisdom is that warming milk releases more of the amino acid tryptophan, which provides a natural and gentle relaxation that makes it easier to fall asleep. I'm just not sure if, when measured, the milk really does have that much tryptophan! Either way, it is a comforting and pleasurable nightcap before sleep. Smiles, Geoff

I was thinking about milk as a natural relaxer in the evening and I think it's suposed to make you relaxed and sleepy when warmed.
So I was wondering if it was true. Just like turkey has. Something like that.
