Stress Linked to Memeory Loss

Staying healthy and happy could be one of the best ways to combat memory loss, according to researchers at the Rush Alzheimer's Disease Center, Chicago. People who are prone to anxiety and depression have been shown to be more likely to develop something called mild cognitive impairment (MCI), which is considered by experts to be a precursor to Alzheimer's disease. The study showed that among elderly people, chronic distress was one of the main predictors of MCI.
