Only recently has the ancient practice of quigong (pronounced CHEE-kung) caught the radar of Americans looking for a new exercise routine. Chunyli Lin, a qigong master in Eden Prairie, Minn., remembers only five people showed up the first time he taught a class in 1993. Now, he told The New York Times, his classes have more than 60 students in them and he travels the country delivering workshops.
