Treat Insomnia with a Bubble Bath

Posted by Mary Ann P.

New research is indicating that a warm bath may help you sleep better. I think that’s something my fellow soakers already knew. They believe that it’s tied to an elevation in the body’s core temperature somehow. I don’t know the exact science behind it but it works for me and any excuse for a bubble bath is good with me. There was no word on the best kind of bubbles. What is your favorite bubble bath?

I've noticed that when I sleep, my body temp goes way up. I read that happens when you're metabolizing, so I'm thinking that's when I'm burning most of my calories. But yeah - anything that makes you feel warm and cozy should help with putting you to sleep.
