Simple Ways to Stay in the Moment

Slow down your actions whenever you can. While dressing, take time to feel the texture of your clothing's fabric on your fingertips. When you're drinking warm tea, feel the liquid gliding down your throat and into your body. While speaking with a loved one, take the time to look into his or her eyes and connect with how you feel about them. Don't feel the need to rush everything. Let yourself be nourished by the moment.
