Papaya-Sage Exfoliating Mask: Glowing Skin Right From Your Fridge

Posted by Heather J.

Sage stimulates new skin-cell growth and papaya exfoliates dry or sun-damaged skin. Together, they make a stimulating, fragrant mask that's great for refreshing tired or sallow skin. It is gentle enough to use weekly, even on sensitive skin.

Ingredients: One cup very ripe papaya

2 tablespoons fresh green sage leaves

Directions: In a blender at high speed, mix the two ingredients to make a foamy cream. Apply to a clean, dry face and neck, and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse with cold water.

My skin is so incredibly sensitive that I either get a rash or zits if I use anything with chemicals. This is perfect! I will definitely try it out!
I have sage growing in the yard but papaya? That can be tough to come by and expensive. Are there any substitutes?
