Moms who lack support are at greater risk of poor mental health

Posted by Nancy B.

A new study conducted at the University of California, Los Angeles indicates mothers of young children have more than three times the risk of mental health problems than their peers if they feel they are missing emotional support in caring for their children. What's more, a mother's mental health has a "strong influence" on the child's health and development, researchers noted. Workplaces could help ease the stress by improving family leave and making good child care more affordable and easier to get, they concluded in this story reported by Reuters. http://uk.reuters.com/article/healthNews/idUKHO08149320070530

This makes TOTAL sense to me. Another huge reason why more workplaces need to really do more to support mothers (and fathers--remember, childcare shouldn't just be a one-parent duty) in balancing work and family.

According to me there is a lots of people, who facing a lots of challenge of serious problems likes mental, plague, handicapped and cancer etc.So guys we need to do some help and cooperate with them.

Even there are also more people in jails and prisons afflicted with mental health illness than in our mental hospitals.
