Shingles does cause some swelling in the lymph nodes and in the site of the rash. Shingles symptoms are usually more pronounce the older someone is when they get diagnosed with shingles, and there can be a general feeling of malaise and fever. Other symptoms include pain where the rash occurs, hyperesthesia, and potentially problems with the eyes and vision.

I didn't see a catagory for Shingles...but it is causing me stress as I'm so un familiar with the symptoms
