Its used off label as a mood stabilizer. Does an amazing job at destroying your appetite.... helping lose weight :)...... but.
KILLS your vocabulary (AKA 'dopamax") affects 'word finding' ability... very frustrating.
I dont take this anymore, and I dont think it helped that much anyway.... Lamictal used very much the same has been better for me

I have severe problems with stress and anxity as well as depression my Dr has me on Klonapin, Paxil, and Topamax. I mentioned to her that vmy meds seem to not be helping me and she uped my topamax to 200mg a day i was under the impression i was on this med for migrain prevention all the research i have done says it is for migrains i just need some clarification please.
