Do You Love Your Job?

Posted by Lela D.

If you aren't in love with your job it may be causing all kinds of stress, which can lead to serious health problems. If you hate your job you already knew that! How do you feel when you get up in the morning? Are you excited to get to work or dreading it? How does that dread feel once it settles into your body? Can you feel it? If so, you may need a new job. If you're feeling unmotivated, it's probably not because you're lazy, but because you're in the wrong place. Most of us need to support ourselves, but at some point in a miserable job you've got to ask yourself if you couldn't get by with less for a while. The truth is that if you find your perfect work, you'll be so amazing at it that money will fall all over you. You won't be working anymore - you'll be having fun. And who doesn't want to be around a fun person? The trouble is it may take a while and a good amount of soul searching to find your niche. Are you brave enough to try? Would it be worth it to eat beans for a while if it meant no more icky feeling in the pit of your gut? No more hating the guy in the cubicle next door? Think about it. Get creative and you may just find your dream job!

You may not love you job but it may be a stepping stone for some thing better. Your mind set would be to look at where you want to go and not where you are right now.

The other thing that's important is how well you handle work place stress.
