Another miserable day here in Kingston. What makes it tolerable is the thought of training...training to outrun brain-eating zombies. Seriously! I'm super excited because me and a few friends signed up for the Run For Your Lives Race in Toronto in September - it's a 5k obstacle course race where you are fleeing from zombies the entire time. If a zombie eats your brain (gets your flag), you turn into a zombie too! How much fun does that sound? In reality I will probably be terrified the entire time...
Training for zombie apocalypses aside, I did get in my workout today. I did a HIIT workout today and decided to do one at home. Sometimes it's nice to forego the gym and do a workout in the comfort of your own home with what you have available. I don't have much, but I do have a stability ball, a weighted jump rope, and bands, which is more than enough. Here's what my workout looked like:
