I agree with pushups. They are a marvelous excercise because they target the muscles in your chest, back, shoulders, triceps and core, especially the lower back. You can vary the moves to hit more of one muscle than the other. For example, putting your hands closer together will target your triceps, while spreading them out further will hit more chest and shoulder. You can also increase the intensity by elevating your legs or even keeping one leg raised while performing the move.
