Believe it or not, there are several effective ways you can get toned even while you're relaxing (or not) at home. Come on now, don't be lazy!
1) Vacuum regularly. Pushing a vacuum around a room can do wonders for toning your arms.
2) Avoid using the dishwasher when you can, and choose to wash your dishes instead. The elbow grease is also great for your arms. Apply the same treatment to your bathtub.
3) Don't be afraid to haul heavy furniture to build strength and those muscles in your upper torso, but do be careful with how you lift--you don't want to hurt your back!
