1) Make sure you use your whole body. According to personal trainers, exercises that stimulate and involve the whole body burn more calories and address more muscle groups.
2) Mix things up. It's easy to hit a plateau even after devising the most successful workout routine, as the body adapts to stress. So be sure to change the intensity of your workout by trying new things.
3) Strength-train at least twice a week, with 8 to 12 reps of 8 to 10 exercises for the chest, back, upper and loewr legs and arms, and shoulders.
I have been on zocor for 5 years and lately my muscles are turning to mush and i have back and hip pain .What can i do to regain my muscle tone .I am off zocor as of to-day and will tell my doctor on my next visit .
