Personal trainer-week 1

I just signed up at a gym and had my first two sessions with a personal trainer this week. Other than the strong suspicion I had this morning when I got out of bed that my trainer may be trying to kill me, I do have a strong sense of achievement having started down this road which I have been contemplating so long.

Personal trainers are very helpful towards starting down the right path. The first couple of sessions it feels like they are trying to kill you, but you'll survive :)
I'm interested to read about your experiences. What kind of exercises is he having you focus on? What kind of motivation does he provide? Have fun! Be well!
