For those of you who are addicted to reading Oxygen magazine or scope out health books you are sure to recognize the name Tosca Reno. I have long been a fan of hers and reader of her columns in the magazine. Last night I was fortunate enough to have an interview with her. It was the first interview I have done where I had tiny butterflies in my stomach but it went great.
Tosca has so much experience in fitness and clean eating so there was no chance of awkward silence. I mention clean eating because she is the author of the Eat Clean Diet and many other spin off books.
One that that hit me was our similar workout patterns. I asked if she had any advice for me and my quest to the figure competition and she mentioned the importance of full body exercises such as squats, deadlifts and lunges. Any one that regularly reads my blog knows that this is the way I love to workout.
My workouts are mostly comprised of multi-joint exercises and limited isolation moves. Most bodybuilders and figure competitors are the other way a round so it was nice to see someone else with my same workout ideas.
I definitely recommend that you check it out next week to get great workout tips, food tips and life tips to get you looking and feeling great. For a woman well into her 40s Tosca is in the best shape. We should all strive to look that great at that age. You go girl!
