I inherited my mother's arms. I feel bad even writing that, because if she read it, her feelings would be hurt. The fact is, no woman wants to have flabby upper arms but unfortunately, it's often genetic. You can have a perfectly toned body but totally unattractive upper arms (feel better, Mom?) And if you don't work hard to tone those puppies, you're gonna have some saggy guns for life.
Since I have no upper arm strength, I have avoided working my arms my whole life. My argument was, I didn't want to "get big". Well... nature is starting to take care of that for me and now when I look in the mirror I see last week's snacking binge right next to my bra straps. Very disheartening.
After complaining about this to a friend with amazing uppers, she let me in on her secret - and this doesn't build muscle, it strictly tones. Plus you don't have to go the gym to do it. Anyone know where I'm going with this??? That's right, the bathroom!
Go to your bath tub, put your hands on the edge of the tub and step your body away from the tub. Using only your arm strength, lower your body towards the floor then lift it back up. Do it slowly, do three reps of ten. Then get in the shower. Easy. Done.
You can do this twice a day in addition to your regular work out and she swears your arms will look as hot as hers. She said it will not be overnight (irritating, but true) but you should notice a difference within a few weeks. Today was my first day. Believe it or not, I can tell they're actually going to be sore tomorrow. Guess it's working... Keep ya posted.
