Dear Well-mates,My personal trainer suggested that I try band and pulley training during my travels. He thought that it would be something I could do in a hotel room--as long as there is an empty space of four feet by two feet. What is your opinion?Sue
I absolutely love using the bands. One important thing to bare in mind is that it is not the end all, be all of exercise. If you view it as any other form of exercise, then you will understand that it is a great component, but should be utilized with other methods for optimal performance. If you are wanting something helpful for travel, then I suggest using the bands with other forms of calisthentic exercise. It will keep you from getting bored, as well as maximizing your workouts in spite of the factors at play, i.e. time, space, convenience. Another key factor is; understand what you are trying to accomplish with each workout and set the tone accordingly. This too will help you achieve maximum results.
