Today I thought I would write about a look into what I’m filling my stomach with on a day to day basis. At the moment I am trying to bulk, by sticking to an IIFYM (If it fits your macros) style diet. The premise of IIFYM is that you can eat anything you want to as long as it fits into your allotted macro nutrients for the day.
Here’s a look at my food diary from yesterday.
As you can see I went over my daily calories, but since I am trying to gain weight, this doesn’t matter too much. One of my meals was made up of just anything I could get my hands on from the bakers. The rest I tried to keep as clean as possible. This is so I can hopefully reduce the amount of fat that I gain during my bulking stage, although as this is my first time ever trying to purposely gain weight, it’s all a bit trial and error to me.
So that’s the sort of stuff I’m eating. Any help or tips on bulking would be very much appreciated so don’t forget to leave them in a comment.
