Adversity reveals genius, prosperity conceals it. Seek first to understand, then be understood. The glass is half empty and half full. The grass is greener on the other side. A friend will help you move, but a real friend will help you move a body. That is list of some smart things other people said. In this world of scared, opinionated people, I am seeking answers to questions I have not yet learned how to ask. To make life more exciting, I have a strange child. They call him autistic. I call him K. I like things I am not supposed to like. They say I am young, but I am too old to do most of the things I want to do. I can switch my ears off in mid conversation and have no recollection of what the other person said. Some people call this selective hearing, which makes it sound like a super power. I grew up in various different cities. Oh I also write about parenting, autism, faith, family life, being an immigrant in Canada, healthy diets, running and a healthy attitude.
