I'm so excited.  I found out tonight that my daughters volleyball coach is going to start a womens team and I'm joining!  I am really excited about doing this because it will expand my horizons in the fitness area.  I love playing, it's fun, energizing and hey, it's exercise!  Do any of you participate in any "adult" sport activities?  How often, what do you do? do you enjoy it? how has it changed your life?

Spin Diva,

Thank you so much for the encouragement, I really needed it. This website in all I do believe is going to be a blessing to me. I have set a goal of trying to walk at least 5 times a week for at least 30 minutes but that goal has not been reached yet. I am determined to start that today so I can start getting my excercises going.

I will let you know the progress of that later, but again thank you so much for the encouragement. It means alot especially when I have someone that experiences the same problems I do, on a day to day basis.

I said I was going to increase my cardiovascular exercises to help burn more calories and fat, I should have known that the minute I decided to do something for me I would be challenged by kids with a cold, babies teething and not sleeping at night, and the itch to start organizing, decluttering, and falling behind on school work. WOW what a week. I missed both my bootcamp classes but I made it to spinning and weight training.

Since I could not make it to the gym I decided to turn my house work into my workout...It's a good thing the Samaritan House is coming to pick up some large items because they will be leaving with a truck full of other stuff. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I climbed by stairs today carrying stuff up and down. To top off my day I decided to mow the lawn for the first time this year. The day was great and I am pretty sure I caught up with my workout by now.

What a productive day this turned out to be.
