i just bought 686 boarding jacket and pants.. they cost me about $600... and i was wondering if it was worth it to put soo much money into boarding gear? (and its really cute too:)
Not worth it (to me) to pay for the brand. 686 snowboarding gear cost you so much because it's a cool brand (just like Baby Phat or Lucky brand) so they mark up the price because people are willing to pay for the brand. There is nothing special about the cloths. As long as you purchase things that are easy to move in and keep you warm, you are set for the snow. Another way to save money is by purchasing your snow gear during the summer.
