Why can't i remember my dreams in the morning?

 i know i have 2 or more dreams during the night but i can barely remember any and i cannot explain why.  I used to be able to remember them but some years back i started to have too many dreams (sometimes 4 to 6 in one night) and could not remember any meaningfully.  Can you help me.
