A regular sleep schedule helps. Stick to it even on weekends. Go to bed and get up at the same times.
Having a sleep ritual is also important. Do familiar things every night to prepare yourself for sleep. Maybe wash your face, brush your teeth, turn down your bed and read for 20 minutes.
Next, try some relaxation methods. Progressive muscle relaxation or meditating by concentrating on your breath can help. The idea is to find something to releave muscular tension and to turn off your brain.
As you are only getting 6 hours of bed time (not necessarily sleep time) you may want to start going to bed earlier. Start at 11:30pm for a few nights then move it back 30 more minutes at a time until you are getting closer to 8 hours of sleep a night. You may find you need more or less than this.
You can also limit caffeine in the evening. If you get into bed still buzzing you'll have to wait for the effect of the coffee to wear off before you will fall asleep.
Try an early evening walk. It's easier to get to sleep if you go to bed tired.

I can't seem to fall asleep easily.
And it's hard to get up the next morning.
I sleep from 12am-6am.
And the next day I'm all zombie like...
And tips or anything?
Sincerely,
Lia V
