Everyone I know sleeps different amounts of hours. I like eight hours, but I can also get going on seven. I have one friend who claims that if she sleeps more than seven, she feels groggy and horrible. What is your ideal amount of hours?
If I get more than 7 or 8 I feel groggy!. I feel that I need that much sleep to feel well rested. However, I noticed if I get less than that amount, I wake up actually feeling awake, not more tired and groggy like I do when I get the recommended amount. Any idea why that is?
Thinking of this makes me want to go to bed earlier!. It seems lately I'm averaging only 6 1/2 to 7. Although on weekends I do 'catch up' with about 8. They say you can't do it, but I swear the weekend sleep-ins catch me up!
6-8 hours. I really like to get eight hours. That's when I feel best. My problem is that my husband gets up at 4am and he's not always quiet. The days I get six hours I usually drag around like a zombie.
Eight hours is ideal. But seldom occurs in reality because I sometimes have trouble getting to sleep, or I'll wake up in the middle of the night, which means I'll be more tired in the morning. But if I get more than eight hours, I tend to feel really groggy, too, so I always make sure I wake up when my alarm goes off.
