hallucinations

Posted by jyacoub

When im trying to sleep sometimes i start feeling like someone is brushing over my feet and legs it is usually accompanied by hallucinations i would describe as what air looks like when gas fumes are in it... Is there a medical explanation for what is going on.  My first  inclination is that i am being haunted and i need to go see a priest but there has to be a medical explanation

My  11 year old son has been suffering from this malady. It is extremely disconcerting to evryone in the home as he comes screaming out of his room stating he is being attacked by bugs. He has ADDHD. He is currently taking such medications as Risperidone and Clonodine cna these medications cause this?

You are suffering from hypnangogic hallucinations as your visions occur as you are falling alseep.

First try maintaining a regular sleep schedule that ensures you are getting enough sleep and avoid alcohol at bedtime.

Is this doesn't help you may have to go to a sleep clinic to investigate other possibilities such as narcolepsy.
