Dreams about Finding Money

Posted Jun 06 2009 10:47pm

Dear Dr Kathy,

Thank you so much for writing back. I truly do enjoy your gift of interpretation. Here are my dreams which I need your help with.

DREAM ONE- GEN 2:14:
In my dream, I was half asleep. I woke up in my dream to see the sky really bright blue and white, like my bed was floating in the clouds. Speaking from heaven, my Heavenly Father said, “Sherri, read Gen. 2:14″. I said, “Lord, there’s nothing in Gen. 2:14″, and He said again, “Sherri, read Gen. 2:14.” The End of Dream One.

Dear Sherri,
Normally I only interpret one free dream for my readers but my interest was intrigued by the first one, which actually confirms the second dream, (which is not uncommon). Therefore I have chosen to interpret both for you. Dream Two is below following

Dream One…
Interpretation of Dream One

Seeing the sky blue and white are heavenly colors symbolic of spirituality and purity. Hearing the voice of God means you take the time to listen when he speaks. The scripture he gave you to read has hidden meaning for you as do much of our scriptures. We must search deeper whenever this type occurs, doing our homework. God will confirm the findings as he has done with dream Two.

Genesis 2:14
The name of the third river is the Tigris; it runs along the east side of Asshur. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.

The emphasis of this verse are these two rivers below:

Meaning and origin of Tigris River

Tigris/ Haddakel /Tiger/Arrow. (All these names referring to the same river-the Tigris)
The Haddakel is the third of four rivers of Eden. Although most translations mention this river by its modern name Tigris, in the Bible this river is consistently called Haddakel.

“The tiger (tigris) is so called because of its rapid flight, for this is what the Persians and Medes call an arrow. It is a beast distinguished by varied markings, amazing in its strength and speed. The river Tigris is called after the name of the animal, because it
is the most rapid of all rivers”

People with this name “Tigris” tend to initiate events, to be leaders rather than followers, with powerful personalities. They tend to be focused on specific goals, experience a wealth of creative new ideas, and have the ability to implement these ideas with efficiency and determination. They tend to be courageous and sometimes aggressive. As unique, creative individuals, they tend to resent authority, and are sometimes stubborn, proud, and impatient, character traits that would need to be addressed. (Not sure if this applies to you or not, only you would know).

The “Tigris” constellation is one of the “88” recognized grouping of stars considered in astronomy. The Number 8 means money, good fortune, happiness, blessings. 88 would be doubled. You will have twice as much as others.

Meaning and origin of The Euphrates River

From the Turkish name of the Euphrates River, Portuguese form of the Late Latin name “Fortunatus” meaning “fortunate, blessed, happy, fruitful” … This was the name of several early saints and martyrs.

The Euphrates is the single most dominant river of the Bible, even more dominant than the Nile or the Jordan. In the Old Testament this river is called “Parat” and as such it is mentioned as early as Genesis 2, where it is one of the four rivers of Eden (the others being Pishon, Gihon and Haddakel… ( also called “Tigris”).

The Greek name Euphrates consists of two elements. The first part is the adverb , meaning good, well, noble. The second part is a transliteration of the Hebrew name for this river: Parat.

The name “Euphrates” means The Good Parat. The name “Parat” comes most likely from the verb (para 1809), bear fruit, be fruitful. Derivative (peri 1809a) is the regular word for fruit. The name Parat is identical to the word fruitful in the sentence ‘Joseph is a fruitful son, a fruitful son by a spring’ of Genesis 49:22.

The name “Parat” means Fruitful.

This dream tells me, there is MONEY and Good Fortune headed your way. This should not be interpreted as winning the lotto but more so that your life will be blessed and that you will always be provided for, you and your family. Blessings also come in other ways such as health, children, material needs etc. Doesn’t mean you won’t or can’t win the lotto, its just not something I see happens very often with dreams such as this. Its even better then money…Its the Blessing and care of God!

Dream Two:

DREAM TWO- PINK SLIPPERS: My mother, myself and my daughter were in the Mall. My mom’s purse was on the floor.A Lost Job due to her health. Out of work without income.

I said, “Mom, your purse is on the floor. I picked it up. There was also a $5.00 bill on the floor. I picked it up.Money slowly coming back to you one step at a time….Mom’s needs will be taken care of by unusual means and help from others.

My mom was walking in front of me and she never looked back. Not paying attention to her health, not planning ahead. Not caring about the future, just keeps moving forward on faith. Again, I picked up two $5.00 dollar bills from the floor. My daughter said, Mom, that’s my money, and she picked it up and put it in her pocket. I knew it was hers.

My mother had given this unknown, nice guy $7.00 to buy her a pair of pink slippers.More then likely she had prayed to God for help, and he provided. Mom’s guardian watches over her to make sure she has what she needs during her time of recovery.

Slippers are something we wear around the house when we are at home, not working, but resting or relaxing. Pink has also bee associated with deep affection and Christ Love.

The number five is a symbol of God’s grace and often times a symbol of changes coming your way. In your Mother’s case, she would be without work or income.

The number seven here indicates an act of completion. Its like saying, “your prayers have been answered.”

(I had my mom’s purse. It was opened. We were like at this Customer Service Window. The guy was standing beside me. (I sensed he was very nice, and even though couldn’t make him out, could see like suit shadow, I knew he was smiling kindly) He had gotten my mom a size 5,.I said she wears a size 6, and had paid $7.00 for them.

As we were (mom, daughter and myself) walking down the hallway of the Mall (mall- provision of needs) again, I picked up a $1,000 bill.(I felt like it was Indian money). Next, I was in a bank. I saw what looked like a little pink book. (There were two little pink books). I knew these books were stacks of money. You’ll always have money in the bank to draw from because of God’s love (pink)for you. The years of giving out will be returned to you…God keeps track in his book of life… I picked up one and quickly begin walking toward the bank’s revolving door.

Money will go out but will return again, Your needs will be met during this time o crises. I am sure there was some concern on your part which is why you had the dream. Dream is comforting you that all will be fine and taken care of.

I saw that this little Asian boy (around age 5,6, or 7, white shirt, dark blue or black pants: school uniform, I think had picked up the other stack/pink book of money. He was turning around playfully like an airplane.

Airplane: comes from a higher source…The heavens= God.

He was holding money in his hand with his right arm up high turning around in a circle saying loudly, money, money, money!!! END OF DREAM.

This situation is a lesson (school) to be reminded that God takes care of his children, His ways are sometimes (foreign to us, Asian) but as we maintain faith, he always provides.

Being that this dream was last September, Id be curious to know how this turned out. Was the dream interpretation correct and were all your needs proved for? Apparently you and your daughter had your own needs as well, all of which were provided for.

This is a dream/s of great blessing and reward because of your faithfulness and love for him. Its always nice to see these dreams come to light as a reminder to me of God’s promises to those who do his will. Thanks for sharing.

Hope this helped you and would love to hear your feedback.

Sincerely
Dr Kathy
