What really helps for eczema and crusty, scaly skin problems?

One of my kids suffered with eczema when he was young, and we had quite a struggle trying to keep his skin moist and healthy. He was active, and always outside getting hot, then cold, then dirty and all that little boy stuff. One lady from a well known women's beauty company offered some cream, and nothing worked. He eventually grew out of it.
Question is; In our modern age, is there any product which actually does help with this aweful skin condition?
Here is a good product my sister uses, and I am going on her recommendation, but apparently this had given her new confidence as the dry patches from eczema are gone in her case.
To maintain soft, healthy, trouble-free skin all over
To soothe the skin
To support skin immunity
ClearSkin-E Cream has been especially formulated using natural ingredients especially chosen to soothe the skin and support skin health. Regular use of ClearSkin-E Cream will help to maintain healthy, trouble-free skin all over – the natural way. This gentle, yet effective formulation is safe to use for all ages, including babies.
It is recommended that ClearSkin-E Cream be used together with our Skin Dr to promote skin health from the inside as well as the outside. Using these two remedies together gives you the best chance of success and helps to ensure long-term results.
There is another approach which is a supplement. There are testimonials for this product, and this company is one I have ordered from in the past with good results.
Dermatin, a new product from Progressive Health, has ingredients that have been clinically proven to reduce inflammation, itching, and scaling.
Dry, extremely itchy skin…Blisters that ooze and crust…Raw, inflamed skin resulting from constant irritation…Leathery, dry patches of skin that are not of the same pigment as the rest of your body. For the majority of people reading these symptoms, they may speak of a severe burn rather than what they truly indicate - a relatively common skin condition.
Today, an estimated 15 million Americans suffer from the skin disorder known as Eczema, with another 20+ million suffering from symptoms resembling eczema. The severity of this condition can encompass the irregularities listed above, but are often as unique as the individual sufferer. Symptoms can range from mild, with occasional itchiness, to severe, being characterized by extremely painful ulcers. What’s more, these traumatized skin areas can occur at various locations across the body and no age group is immune.
If you have eczema, or suffer from eczema-like symptoms, know that there is no cure. However, this shouldn’t be cause for alarm. There are things that you can do to help control it. These practices encompass diet, lifestyle change, acknowledging environmental factors, and perhaps most important of all, nutritional supplements.
With the administration of Progressive Health’s eczema formula, you may begin to regulate inflammatory processes throughout the body, while seeing marked improvements in skin function and appearance.
So, there are 2 good products to consider. Do you know some home remedies that might work. Please feel free to post them right here on comments, or on my whiteboard! Love to hear from you!
