what is this bilateral itchy skin rash, on both sides of my abdomen?

i suddenly developed a broad patch of red, slightly raised and itchy skin on both sides of my stomach.  the pattern is almost exactly the same on both sides.

i have not been in/near any plants and am not taking medications, and i am not pregnant.

any ideas?
