What could be causing these red bumps?

Posted by Bumpy and in Pain

I have been recently getting these large painful bumps on different parts of my body. They started in the bikini area, but have also appeared in places like the backs of my legs and my stomach. At first they are a red swollen area that sometimes resembles a pimple, sometimes more like a blister. Sometimes they just go away, other times they seem to get infected and turn into a blood blister before going away. I thought it might be bumps due to shaving so I stopped shaving the affected areas, but have continued to experience the bumps. I have tested negatively for any STD's and can't think of anything else that could be causing this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
