My lovely friends Brendan and Suki from ROAR food came to visit me last week with a car full of raw food ingredients (lucky me). So we got messing around with the camera and made a few cooking shows.
In this video we make raw zucchini pasta which is just amazing. I swear to you that once this pasta is coated in some kind of sauce, you cannot tell the difference between this and the real thing. Only zucchini pasta is way healthier because it’s a vegetable and a whole food.
So if you’re worried about not getting enough vegetables in your diet. I encourage you to give this recipe a go. The first time I personally tried this I said I’d never buy pasta again, and I haven’t!
The important thing to remember is you can use whatever sauce you like with this pasta, just use it like you would use normal spaghetti noodles.
The sauce we’ve chosen in this video is a combination of two sauces we had left over from making the raw aubergine pie which I’ll be blogging about soon.
The only problem is you do need to buy a turning slicer which is yet another gadget for the kitchen. Although turning slicers retail for around AU$25 so they’re actually very affordable. I bought one last week and I was very excited when it arrived!
