Americans are unsure about the future of their healthcare in the wake of the Democrats’ big healthcare reform legislation. Reuters is reporting that consumers are postponing big healthcare decisions like surgery and elderly people are more commonly affected by this wariness.

Obama’s reform package has passed but at present little has changed as most of the provisions apparently will take years to be implemented. Promises for the future include decreasing Medicare funds and increased costs to the States in the way of Medicaid expenditures.
Federal interference in healthcare has once again resulted in uncertainty.
