The following is the report of of my Mother Mrs. Madhu Sharma given by a prestigious government hospital in Delhi.
Skin biopsy shows clusters of atypical lymphocytes in the epidermis(pautiers micro abscesses). Dermis shows diffuse interstitial infiltrate of similar cells having hyperchromatic cleaved nuclei admixed with few reactive lymphocytes and plasma cells. Occassional mitosis is seen. The cells are predominantly CD 4 positive. Few cells are CD 8 positive.
Imp: Mycosis fungoides.
Please help me urgently. What it is? Is it curable? What is it's cure/line of treatment?
