My boyfriend had a lump on his shoulder that he said had been there for years. It was flesh colored painless and about small- medium gumball size about 1/4-1/2 inch rise above regular skin. I assumed it was a kind of cyst or boil, and encouragd him to try ichthamol ointment to draw out the toxins. Ater a week of ichthamol and putting hot water w/epson salt on it, it never came to a head, so he gave up. The top of the lump did develop a dark red spot (about the size of a dime) on the very top of the lump).
He is currently having bad cold symptoms which started a dy or 2 after we started messing with this lump and haven't gone away 2 days after stopping. I don't know if there's a correlation or not.
