Itchy rash on palm of hands

After having a fever with aches and pains for approximately 48 hours, I have developed an itchy rash in the palm of my hands.  The rash doesn't have blisters, etc, but rather appears to be flat areas of thickening skin.  Any help, this has been going on for approximately 10 days.
