I have a lump in my ear lobe. I have had it for a year but it recently grew very large any ideas

I first noticed the lump around my first gout attack the lump was very small then and round. It has just recently grew alot and is now flat in some spots and round. It seems to be getting into the cartledge in my ear. my ear is hot to the touch and it dosen't hurt.

If you are getting gout it is possible that the lump is a tophus, which is an accumulation of the uric acid crystals. These tophi can appear in the earlobes as well as in other places on your body. You should get yourself to the doctor who can test for hyperuricemia.
