My husband and I bought land 3 years ago to build a house - the land is filled with high brush and trees - some of which were cut down and are rotting. While working there I wear gloves, long sleeved shirt. I continue to get small very itchy bumps between my fingers that last for weeks. They get very itchy at night. They are filled with clear fluid. Out of our family of four who work there I am the only one to get this and it's happened several times in the past 3 years. It sounds strange but several hours (4-5) after working there the inner parts of my ear or ears begin to itch horribly- the next day I usually begin to see the bumps between my fingers start to appear. I went to my doctor when it first began to happen 3 years ago - he thought it was scabbies. A month later I came down with them again and he thought he was wrong about the scabbies but he wasn't sure what it was. If they are mites please tell me how I can get rid of the bites and how to prevent them from biting me in the future. please help, this is very frustrating.
I think it's pompholyx. I get them too, usually when I've been doing stuff that makes my hands sweat a lot and when I've also been really stressed out. Mine don't dry up like the pictures though, and they're not on my palms, just my fingers and they usually start inbetween and then some pop up on the back of my fingers too. No doctor I've ever been to has known what to do with them. I just have to wait for them to go away.
i get them from food allergies, and also bleach on my skin. most recently i got it from splenda,,, I would say avoid splenda,,, I have read they use bleach somehow in the processing to get sugar out of milk. I don't know all about it,,, but I have not had a problem in years and then I started to get them again,,, I thought about what I was doing different and I had just bought a vitamin drink powder from GNC and used it for a week or so and started to get the hand bumps. I also am on a generic Nexium, but I am leaning towards the Splenda as it has happend before. Other known problems I have are a slow thyroid, and fatty liver , which could both contribute to not being able to filter out , medicine , or artificial sweeteners. Back when it happened I thought it was poison ivy, scabies or lice or something because i itched in other areas too but , only had bumps on fingers. I hope this helps someone, somehow.
I get these bumps too, and I have found that if you scratch the blister open or take a pin or a needle and open them they will stop itching and begin to heal. I hope this helps. I have also been to the dr and nothing they have given me have worked. They were mostly creams and well none have worked at all. again the only releif I get from this ailment is popping them and allowing them to dry up.
