children with herpes zoster

Posted by julezmartinez

My daughter was told by her doctor she has a form of herpes, she had a cold, developed a fever and on her buttox she developed a patch of blisters about 2inches in a circle, i believe the cream she prescribed her was aclivir.  It has been approximatly two months, and she had a ear infection, and sinus infection , and on her lower back appeared this blistering again...    could it be the antibiotic causing this?  is it normal to get it more than once?  She is a pretty healthy child otherwise, besides the 6 or 7 colds she gets a year, but nothing more than ear,or throat or sinus infections for her .  she is only 5 years old.  is there a chance this can appear on her face ?
